How Our Race Nights Work

Our Race Nights are the perfect event for businesses or private hire. Here at Race Night Yorkshire, we use a DVD with either horses or dogs on to run the races. All the races are UK race courses and each race dvd has a build up and some commentary on how each horse / dog has been performing recently – We set up a screen and projector, and professional sound system  to run the races with, have background music between races to create a better atmosphere. We’ve built up year’s of experience professionally hosting and providing race night events across Yorkshire and particularly at York Race Course were we are based.

Race Nights Event Buildup

For each race we do a race build up announce the names of each horse and the race sponsor, we then use a professional tote betting system that works out the odds on each horse in each race depending on how many bets are placed on each horse. This system also works out the amount to be paid out for the people who back the winning horse – Its like being at a race course when you place a bet you get a betting ticket with the horse and race number on. When all the bets have been taken we announce the favourite and odds of the favourite, then run the race. At the end of each race we then announce how much is paid out.

Pre-Race Night Pack

For all of our race nights we send out a race pack that has a help and advice sheet, a matrix to fill in the horses names and owners.
